A new vintage/release of one of our most popular wines for the holiday season! Nouveau is a style of red wine that is typically seen in the Beaujolais region of France. Wines are quickly fermented in a carbonic macération (whole grape/berry fermentation) and released in November, just in time for the holidays. This is the third year we’ve used Maryland grown Barbera grapes which we sort through and de-stem by hand. This vintage shows intense notes of black raspberry, violet, and plum with a hint of spice on the finish. Pairs well with roasted meats, and roasted fall vegetables.
